by Danno I'm reading, listening to, and watching financial-related stuff every day. LOTS of stuff! On a pretty regular basis I'll pass books back and forth with close friends, or we'll forward podcasts or articles to one another. Friends who know me will read something and say "Danno would like this", and they'll pass it along. When I first started wanting to learn more about investing, I learned that it is very easy to find yourself going down the wrong path, reading or listening to or watching the wrong things that don't matter. I watched hundreds of hours of CNBC and YouTube. I read hundreds of articles, Twitter feeds, whitepapers, blogs. I also would talk to my stockbroker and pick his brain regularly. Much of it was a colossal waste of time and money, sorting through the junk to do the necessary learning of what things actually matter.
